Fantasy Design in Gent 28th May 2005 – 25th September 200514.11.05 On the 27th of May Design museum Gent held the opening of Fantasy Design. The exhibition had about 43 000 visitors during the period. In Gent they presented not only the international selection of Fantasy Design, but also a special presentation of about 100 other children's designs from Belgium created during the Fantasy Design project at different schools, and a presentation of the 25 designers involved in the project. Again also Fantasy Design workshops were part of the exhibition: Grab the handle and step in! – a workshop with possibility of designing and moulding your own door handle, the Fantasy Design mug selection and playful learning with Fantasy Design questions placed around the exhibition. |
