Project Overview
In this workshop, participants will learn the basic principles of silk screen printing techniques by printing both on fabric as well as on other materials. Participants will be asked to print a motif inspired from the collection of coptic fabrics housed in the National Museum of Decorative Arts which can then be used as publicity and promotional material for the MNAD itself.
This workshop will also be held simultaneously in the School of Art nº10. The workshop here will be organized towards T-shirt printing as a way of advertising in a more colourful manner as an image that is representative of the collections housed in the MNAD. In the Islas Filipinas Institute, the process will be focussed on different publicity items (T-shirts, paper drink mats, plastic rulers).
