Project Overview

The National Museum of Decorative Arts has began a program of visits specially designed to pupils of shools of art and secondary education schools. Specially trained museum educators have done the visit.

The visit lasted an hour and a half and focused on a selection of items which would be used as example of differents aspects of design in the workshops which have been developed in the Escuela de Arte 10 installations.

<p>The pupils have received some information about the leather cases which belonged to the king Philip the Fifth. Also, we have discussed all together on the fonctionnal and symbolic aspects of these objects. These leather cases used to contain luxury pieces of&nbsp;crocquery served us to explain&nbsp;the sense of modern packaging.&nbsp;Afterwards, we&nbsp;have asked to the pupils to imagine an object for being inside one case they have chosen.</p>
<p>The museum educators make an introduction about the museum and the objectives of the visit in the hall.</p>
