Project Overview
Teachers: Adrian Carra, Mariano Sarmiento and Altamira Sáez
Design and make a real object in paper paste taking as a reference the container of the “Tesoro del Delfin“ from the National Museum of Decorative Arts of Madrid, a group of jewel boxes made for a heir to the Spanish Crown .
This workshop proposes each student to carry out a personal and creative work about the form of containers for objects, and their possible variations, relating the shape of a container to the object, for example for practical reasons, like blisters for medicines, for symbolic reasons as the Egyptian sarcophagi, or because we create our own game on this relationship….. or many others.
