Project Overview
This project focus on packaged design as the packaging is an important part of design, that helps introduce products.
The participants start out with a guided tour at Kunstindustrimuseet, where they are given an introduction to what design is or can be.
In a three-day workshop at Billedskolen I Tvillingehallen, the students are briefly introduced to design use in everyday life - particularly in relation to different types of exciting and fun packaging.
From here, the students describe a dream that they find important and afterwards the challenge is finding the right wrapping / packaging for this dream.
They draw sketches and try different options before they come up with the right packaging-idea.
The aim of the project has been to open the students' eyes to what design is and what impact design has on our everyday life. In addition, it has been of great importance that the students were given the chance to experiment with creating their own designs.
