The objective of this workshop is to understand the basic requirements for the design of packaging materials.   Starting from a review of the jewellery boxes of the “Tesoro del Delphin” at the MNAD (National Museum of Decorative Arts of Madrid), all students will be requested to design their own paper version for the packaging of some of the items shown at the museum (glasses, salt shakers, jewellery, etc.). The analysis and study of the multiple possibilities that this material presents including its different shapes, finishes, etc, will open a range of options where the students will meet the challenge of combining creativity and functionality.
